UA Goes Back To School

We are pleased to share with the UA community our ongoing plans to keep students and staff healthy and safe. We have been working diligently on our plan to meet the guidelines in BC’s Back to School Plan and following the directives from the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Health, and the Provincial Health Officer. We hope that this document will provide the information that students, parents, and guardians require to understand the protocols that are in place to ensure everyone's safety. All members of the community will be required to follow the protocols outlined within the plan in order for it to be successful.

Please find the Urban Academy COVID-19 Safety Plan by clicking the button below. The plan is updated on a regular basis as new information and guidelines emerge.

Welcome Back Messages For Students

In advance of the first day of school, UA distributed welcome back messages to Urban Academy Students. These brief videos were created for each specific grade group and outlined some details of what students could expect when returning to school. Students met some UA staff, saw the entrance/exit doors and stairwells they now use to navigate the facility, and were given some instruction on when and where they are to wear their PPE. We are looking forward to supporting students to feel well prepared and safe in their return to school!
