Urban Academy is focused on and committed to the development of the child in their entirety. From developing their emotional intelligence, to infusing art into standard curriculum, we provide a unique and well-rounded educational program that is committed to excellence in all facets.
UA students learn about themselves, their learning styles and how they interact with others in an effort to develop into truly compassionate global citizens. Through the buddy program, children of all ages learn from and interact with one another, which benefits both older and younger students in a variety of ways. Finally the SmartLearning method of instruction aids in developing self-awareness in each child.
Our teachers also ensure that they collaborate with one another, regarding both lesson plans and individual child needs. The formal collaboration times, and informal collaborative approach allows for every student to be supported in their studies.
The UA Experience lays the foundation necessary for students to be aware of how they learn and grow, and what their potential truly is in this world.
