We’re glad you’ve taken the time to visit this site, and are interested in enrolling your child in Urban Academy. After you've explored our website, we invite you to call or email our school office to make an appointment to tour the school. Our friendly and professional admissions director will take you on a tour of our facility and introduce you to our learning program. At this meeting you will receive additional school information and you can find out how we can work with your child to offer them excellence in education and exposure to the arts.
After the initial meeting, a session will be scheduled for you and your child with our Head of School. The purpose behind this meeting is to confirm that what Urban Academy provides is a match for your family and to get a sense of your child as an individual. These meetings are very relaxed and for younger children, activities will be provided. In some rare cases such as that of special needs students, further investigation may be required to make sure that Urban Academy has the ability to provide a high quality program for the student and to prepare the appropriate individual learning plan.
If at this point, you feel like the school is a good fit for your child and family, you will then submit your application form and fee, and we would set up a visit day for your child to visit the school. Depending on their age, either a half or full day visit would be planned so that your child can become a little more familiar with the school and some of the people that they may be going to school with the following year.
We respect that choosing a school for your child is one of the most important decisions that you will make in your life, therefore this three step application process is set up so that we can all be sure we have the most relevant information possible. We are happy to answer any of your questions during our application process and we look forward to having the opportunity to support you in making an informed decision about your child’s education.
To request a tour, please contact the school directly, or the Urban Academy Admissions Director.
