Out of School Care

We follow up an amazing education experience with an amazing care experience too. Our licensed Out of School Care (OOSC) is a vital program for students up to 12 years old. Offered throughout the year including summer time, spring break, winter break and professional days, OOSC provides a safe, high-quality supervision amenity during which students can engage in structured programs or free-play to promote learning and fun.

Summer OOSC

Out Of School Care runs from 7am-6pm throughout the summer for Urban Academy Students, as well as children from the community aged 4-12 years as well. Activities and field trips are carefully planned so that children can experience a full and fun summer. From water parks to movies, theme days, museums and shows, children will enjoy their summer with new friends and old. Open over Winter Holidays, Spring Break, Summer Break and Pro Days. Only closed on stat holidays.

easy application process

To apply for a space in Out of School Care, please complete and submit the OOSC Application Form. A $75 registration fee (per student) is due at the time of application for new registrants.

OOSC Activities

OOSC connects students to their school. They play board games, do homework, read, enjoy snacks, and play games that allow them to develop their analytic and creative problem solving skills. All programs help students develop their sense of self, explore their natural curiosity, play outside and develop an enthusiasm for learning.

The registration fee is $75 (per student). Monthly fees do not include Pro D Days or school holidays (Winter Break, Spring Break, and summer holidays). Registration for Out of School Care during these times is done separately on a first-come, first-served basis. Payment must be received in advance to reserve your space. Penalty Fees Late payment charge $20 – charged if fees are not paid by the 5th day of each month NSF charge $25 – charged if a cheque is returned NSF Late Pick-Up $1 per minute charged for each minute that a parent is late.
